DETAILED DESIGN MODULE | ||
The module is the final step in the process. It starts with the subdivision of plots and catchment area for the secondary substations defined in the previous module. It provides a further subdivision of the plots allocating them to feeder pillars and Service turrets performing three levels of further optimizations: • Varying combinations of the plots • Varying MDBs position • Varying combinations of main and service cable All necessary calculations are completed and result recorded in the external file and directly in AutoCAD entities. |
Here, the control of the process is deliberately handed over to the designer, enabling verification of MDBs/SMDBs locations relative to other infrastructure services and roads and user preferred architecturally and visually pleasing locations. The complete integration of electrical design into other elements of infrastructure and clash analysis shall be completed at this stage. MDBs/SMDBs can be relocated to any position as per designer preference. A simple rerun of the software updates all electrical parameters. Design on avarage is completed in 10% of time needed for the manually design (depends on the number of plots and scheme complexity). |
